Have you ever wondered about the differences between startups, scale-ups, and corporates? It's the first E-Club evening of the semester, and we're fortunate to have two distinguished guests with us: Björn and David, who are HPI alumni and currently serve as VPs of Engineering at SAP Signavio. They completed their bachelor's and master's degrees at HPI and subsequently founded a consultancy firm, which grew to over 10 employees. They then doubled down on a SaaS product called Auratikum, but were unable to execute it to sustain as a venture capital business case. They joined Signavio, went through the acquisition by SAP, leading both of them to become Vice Presidents of Engineering. Today, they lead organisations of several hundred employees.
